Neutralising Water Treatment Systems

There are two types of Acid Neutralising Filters to choose from and Daryl Heswall Plumbers can help you select the system to best suit your needs. The Calcite or Calcite Blend filters improve the pH of your water, eliminating the effects of corrosive water chemistries, helping to prevent corrosion of piping and fixtures.

Neutralisers do not remove contaminants from the water, so they don’t purify but add calcium and magnesium at controlled rates to improve the acid/alkaline balance of your water. The size of the system will be determined by the flow of your water and Daryl Heswall plumbers will work out the right size of treatment solution for your needs.

We advise you to have a water test done before contacting our technical staff for help on selecting the best system for your needs. You should know the pH, alkalinity, hardness and total dissolved solids. Your water must also be low in tannins and free of oil and it is also important to know the iron and manganese levels.
