ZINCALUME®, a zinc/aluminium alloy coated steel, was introduced to the New Zealand market in 1994. ZINCALUME® coated steel is a significant improvement to traditional zinc coated galvanised steel and is widely accepted throughout New Zealand with a major share of the steel building products market.

ZINCALUME® coated steel is formulated to give a significantly longer service life than a galvanised coating, a feature that is valuable in New Zealand where the prevailing winds carry corrosive salt laden air many kilometres inland.
